* Oct. 18, Saturday -- About 3,000 prospective students, parents and school counselors are expected to explore UC Davis on Preview Day, beginning at 7:30 a.m. They will be able to meet with representatives from academic colleges, divisions and departments from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and attend afternoon sessions on admission for high-school and transfer students, financial aid, student housing, academic-enrichment opportunities and student activities. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Recreation Hall, the visitors can talk with representatives from more than 100 majors and learn about student services and activities.
