1. Support, Assistance, and Advocacy

  • Confidential Support for Survivors
    The Center for Advocacy, Resources & Education (CARE) provides confidential support, assistance, and advocacy to individuals who have experienced sexual harassment, relationship abuse, stalking, and all forms of sexual violence.
     
  • Student Health and Counseling Services
    Student Health and Counseling Services provides medical care, mental health support, and confidential consultations for survivors of sexual assault. Please note: sexual assault evidentiary exams are completed at the Bridging Evidence Assessment & Resources (BEAR) Clinic in Sacramento, not at the Student Health & Wellness Center. More information about sexual assault evidentiary exams can be found on the CARE website.
     
  • Student Support Case Managers
    Meet with a Student Support Case Manager to get help for yourself or a friend with a crisis, trauma, life challenge or other barrier to success.
     
  • Women’s Resources and Research Center (WRRC)
    The WRRC provides education, advocacy, resources, and a safe space that centers on the experiences of womxn, transgender, femme and non-binary individuals.

  • CARE Prevention Education
    CARE provides prevention education, workshops, and events aimed at creating a community free from sexual and gender-based violence through awareness, training and skill-building.

    The Health Promotion team provides resources and education on safe relationships and consent.
