Erin Morgan joins UC Davis this week as the university registrar, as announced by Walter Robinson, associate vice chancellor for Enrollment Management.

Morgan comes from Seattle University where she served as the registrar and director of Enrollment Services. Her first day at UC Davis is Wednesday (April 25).

Robinson said Morgan brings a wealth of leadership experience in registrar functions from a range of higher education institutions and has been at the helm of implementing technology solutions to better serve the needs of students.

“It’s an honor to be selected for this position at such a wonderful institution,” she said. “I look forward to working closely with the staff in the Office of the University Registrar and partners across the UC Davis campus community to engage in ‘creative and bold efforts’ that contribute to the university’s ‘To  Boldly Go’ strategic effort.”

The campus community is invited to a welcome reception from 3 to 5 p.m. this Thursday (April 26) in the Fielder Room, Memorial Union (second floor). Light refreshments will be provided.
