A professional basketball game in Sacramento is the next event in Staff Assembly's Summer Fun program.

UC Davis Night With the Sacramento Monarchs is set for Friday, July 17, with tipoff at 7 p.m. at Arco Arena. The Monarchs are scheduled to play the Seattle Storm in a Women's National Basketball Association contest.

The Staff Assembly price is $10 for lower-level seats, with raffle prizes and a group photo on the court as part of the fun. UC Davis Night tickets are available through July 15, by contacting Nick Allred, (916) 928-6947) or nallred@arcoarena.com.

Staff Assembly officials said Summer Fun events are open to all UC Davis staff, affiliates and their friends and families.

The Summer Fun calendar concludes with UC Davis Day With the Oakland A’s (vs. the Chicago White Sox) at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.

The Staff Assembly price for the A's game is $25 for field-level box seats. Look for the listing on the home page of the Staff Assembly Web site: staff.ucdavis.edu.

If there is enough interest in a group discount for public transportation, Staff Assembly will consider renting a bus or arranging for train transit to the A's game.
