Warren Roberts retired from the arboretum three years ago (after a 37-year career there, he holds the title superintendent emeritus), but he still leads Walks With Warren.
He is an expert on all things green, tells good stories and is quite fond of puns — guaranteeing you will learn a lot about the arboretum and have fun, too!
Roberts leads his tours the second Wednesday of the month, which means the next couple of tours are set for Nov. 14 and Dec. 12, both in the west end gardens. Walks With Warren run from noon to 1 p.m.; the meeting place varies, although, in November and December, the meeting place happens to be the same: the gazebo.
