This weekend brings the first of the campus’s biannual bicycle auctions, run by Transportation and Parking Services. David Takemoto-Weerts, Bicycle Program coordinator, said more than 400 abandoned and unclaimed bikes will go up for sale on Oct. 10, with a preview hour starting at 8 a.m. and the auction going from 9 a.m. until all the bikes are sold, in the west entry garage off Hutchison Drive. Prices averaged $30 to $40 at the last two sales. The second sale of the year is set for May 1.
