As part of their ongoing investigation into a Jan. 17 incident in an apartment in the Russell Park housing complex on campus, UC Davis police and other law enforcement agencies on Thursday (March 7) searched the apartment for further evidence. They also reinspected a laboratory in the chemistry building. Both searches were completed without incident.

We would like to thank the UC Davis Police Department and all of the law enforcement agencies that have collaborated on this investigation for their continuing efforts.  We also want to thank our community for its continued understanding of the need to limit information about the ongoing criminal investigation, both to protect the integrity of the process and to ensure due process to the accused.
