Students wait in line for pizza Sept. 28 in the Memorial Union’s old post office in the building’s east wing, where food stores have temporarily been set up while the ASUCD’s Coffee House undergoes an $8 million renovation and expansion. The Coffee House, in the MU’s west wing, shut down this summer for what is expected to be a year’s worth of construction. If all goes according to plan, diners will, in the fall of 2010, find the central serving room in the same place, but with improved circulation and more food choices.
