Updated: 10:45 a.m. Aug. 27: City police have issued an all-clear for the suspicious package reported earlier. The department advised on its Facebook page that all street closures had bee lifted and “the situation has been handled.”

City of Davis police have closed Fifth Street between A and F streets this morning (Aug. 27) while they investigate a suspicious package near C Street. Downtown traffic is being diverted.
