“Real Places of UCD,” a video series that explores the places on campus where student success is priority No. 1, made recent visits to Services for International Students and Scholars and the Center for African Diaspora Student Success. What happens when Kings ‘light the beam’

Jae Yong Suk, an associate professor of design and the associate director of the California Lighting Technology Center, spoke to CBS Sacramento earlier this year about how the purple beam atop the Golden 1 Center works. Most recently it illuminated the sky over Sacramento last night (April 17) for the Kings’ playoff win over the Golden State Warriors. That series stands 2-0 in favor of the Kings.
