UC Davis once again hosted the California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science, nicknamed COSMOS. Nearly 200 students — eighth- through 11th-graders from around the state — participated in the four-week residential program, with instruction provided by UC faculty and researchers. The Biomedical Sciences cluster met in the School of Veterinary Medicine’s Multipurpose Teaching Laboratory, where a photographer captured these scenes of a July 17 lesson on parasites.
