The Craft Center's Staff Show and Silent Auction is set to wind up today (Dec. 4) with a reception and, if necessary, live bidding.
The reception is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and the silent bidding period closes at 6 p.m. (during the reception). Live bidding will then commence for any items for which there are active bidders at the end of the silent bidding period.
This eighth annual event features jewelry, glasswork, textiles, ceramics, metalwork, woodwork, photography, painting, drawing, screen printing and mixed media. Auction proceeds support Craft Center programs.
The exhibition is in the Craft Center Gallery, which is in the Craft Center in the South Silo.
Nelson ARTFriends online auction continues through Dec. 16.

The center features 10 fully equipped studios for different media: ceramics, woodworking, screenprinting, glass, flameworking, jewelry, welding, photography, textiles (sewing, weaving and dyeing), and arts and crafts.
Each quarter the center offers more than 90 classes ranging from one-day workshops to seven-week courses.
"After developing a skill, you may purchase a day or quarter pass to use the studios whenever our classes are not in session."
