UC Davis Day With the Oakland A’s (vs. the Chicago White Sox) is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.

The Staff Assembly price for the A’s game is $25 for field-level box seats.

Look for the listing on the home page of the Staff Assembly Web site: staff.ucdavis.edu. You can click on the link to bring up the ticket order form, and send in your check; or you can pay cash to Staff Assembly coordinator Tiva Lasiter, (530) 752-0988 or tlasiter@ucdavis.edu. The last day to purchase tickets is Aug. 29.

If there is enough interest in a group discount for public transportation, Staff Assembly will consider renting a bus or arranging for train transit to the A’s game.

The A’s outing is the last event on Staff Assembly’s Summer Fun calendar for 2009.

Staff Assembly officials said Summer Fun events are open to all UC Davis staff, affiliates and their friends and families.
